the end of a love affair?
[the Argentine revenge /2005]

WE DON'T really seem to care about things until we lose them. Then, when the power of their absence shakes our soul, we just realize something is missing, maybe forever.
Be it a friend, a place, an object, a feeling ...

Having lost my beloved camera during a trip to Argentina truly made me think about that over and over. A simple digital camera and hundreds of images, photos lost somewhere, how could that affect my sensations, my subsequent behaviour during my journey?
Nevertheless, I came to realize that there are many things worse that can happen while On the Way than losing the "little baby" i've been carrying during all these past years.

I am talking about friends who will possibly remain at their places while I am just passing by, the ones who I'm not going to see anymore: people met on the road, with whom I shared more than a cup of tea, a conversation, a place to sleep. Furthermore, individuals with whom I felt very at ease, sharing an inner connection of the mind.

To all of them, here it goes this humble tribute, a compilation of photos taken with this lost camera representing the End of a Love affair but at the same time claiming their everlasting spirit ...
